The Cry
Christine Ott is a French composer, pianist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and "ondist", specialist in ondes Martenot.
She was a member of Yann Tiersen band for eight years, and also played for classical orchestras for ten years. She is a recognized classical composer. From movie soundtracks to opera, through improvisation, contemporary music, theatre plays, dance or rock music, her musical path is always guided with a ‘no-limit’ spirit and the will to share her passion for new sounds, but especially with her old musical instrument which plays enigmatic and captivating waves: the Ondes Martenot.

The Cry is a new improvising trio comprised of Christine Ott (Ondes Martenot, piano), Mathieu Gabry (keyboards, effects) and Pierre-Loïc Le Bliguet (drums, percussion). This debut release was created in November 2022 and it falls between avant-garde jazz, krautrock and progressive instrumental music.
